Do you have any once-staunch Democrat friends that are no longer Democrat?

There are some wacko's in both parties but people in both parties that care about America are pretty appalled about the way the political game is going. Most of my Democrat voting friends now tell me they are voting for the candidate and not the party. That lets them off the hook to vote republican. All the democrats I know are blue dog types that are steady hard working responsible types though , so I can't say about the rest.
