My son has a 22 week old german shepherd puppy that will snap your fingers everytime you give a treat.?

He is wondering without beating or the puppy how can we get her to stop doing this, she actually drew blood the other day. My son has to give her medications in a hot dog for her to take it and she gets real snappy when she see's she is getting a treat.
