I miss my friend...Help me get apologize!!!?

So I had this friend named Theile and she was a real good friend. She was there when I needed her and always had time for me. She was even with me when I found out I was pregnant. Well about a year and 2 months ago I completely screwed our friendship uo by repeating something I shouldnt have. She had invited me to a friends house and I went. The girl was completely trashing people and then she started trashing another one of my friends. I let It be known she was my friend and the subject should be changed and it wasn't. So the girl kept talking while I was disagreeing. Theile began to agree and then disagree with this girl and it upset me as the friend she was talking about was also on of theiles friends. I repeated it and a whole bunch of mess got started. I realize I shouldve kept my mouth shut because theile was a much better friend then the one being talked about. I miss her terribly and want so bad to apologize but im afraid of rejection and do not want anymore trouble. Help me!!!
