Why do we let our media create wars as in Libya now?

Is media creating war in Libya?About a million Indians settled in Libya for years had returned to India in past two weeks.One of my close relative ,a software engineer returned two days back.People have left their life time savings there and requested the Indian Govt to evacuate them from Libya.What we see in TV and news items is totally false?In modern time we can see what is happening.You may be Gadaffi agent or supporter.
