Is it wrong to rub cats in a way that gives them ual pleasure?

My friend, Maggie, insists on petting my cat, Chocho, at the base of her tail. Chocho seems to really love it, but I've heard that petting a cat in a certain way gives them ual pleasure. I asked Maggie to stop because I think it is sort of like , but whenever she comes to my house she does it again. Do you think she is purposely trying to bug me, or do you think it's something more sinister? Personally, I think it's gross.
