10 year old son has enlarged thyroid?

My son has been experiencing dizzy spells alot latley and sometimes has troubles walking. The doctor noticed his thyroid was enlarged and sent us for bloodwork which we did today! People take advantage of the minority group.They like to feel like they have won. Since there is such a small population of people, they will most likely lose since majority rules. Patio door lock out of sync - wont unlock?

The system seems to have been out of sync for a while but normally after a bit of fiddeling it locks/unlocks. Unfortunately the key sheared of in the lock so I have taken the mechansim out to replace the lock. Now trying to put it back I can't get the mechanism to unlock. The key mechanism works fine but the system on the side that you pull up and down in addition to the key lock wont disengage. There is a sprung horizontal section that comes out to engage with the other door. It springs out but there doesn't seem to be anything that pulls it back. The only way that it seems to work is if you push the horizontal section back in - obviously not possible if the door is shut....help!

What to do about a needy dog?

Anyone else surprised at differences in gender after having children?

I asked this question before, and it got deleted. No idea why. Before I had children, I often umed that the differences in genders were mainly influenced by the parents and society. (buying boy toys for boys, playing rougher etc.) After having children, I was surprised at how much the differences seem to be innate. My son loves trucks and cars, long before we started buying them and he plays aggressively sometimes which I have never encouraged. He's home with me all day, so I try to get him to do other stuff like puzzles, books, and quieter games which he will do, but only for a short time and then he's back to smashing cars. Everyone is different. Most people in this country today were raised on the belief that doctor's always tell the truth and that drugs are the only way to go. That is what the pharmaceutical companies want you to believe too. Doctor's get a kickback from pharmaceutical companies for every drug they prescribe. Me, I don't trust doctor's advice any further than politicians advice. Which is why I use herbs. And I am a lot healthier than the doctor's ever told me I would be without using their drugs too. If a doctor sees a hundred people and charges $100 in a day he becomes rich. If a doctor charged only $1 a day in a month he would still become rich, but not as much as would by lying to his patients just to make more money. Everything comes down to money. They (doctors) don't want you to get well no matter what they tell you. They want you to stay sick so they can get more money for the drugs they tell you to use or the worthless surgeries that remove or replace parts of your body, but don't heal anything. In my opinion.

When someone says that they'll pray for me, it just makes me sick. Usually they do it when I've said something they can't explain. Like why can't you think for yourself? I am not going to tell you to love and respect your mother. That has to come from you, or not. You don't seem to have a lot of options except trying to stay out of her way as much as possible. Is there a way you can spend more time at school so that you can be in a calm environment. Pain Running afte ACL surgery?

So my doctor cleared me to run/jog after four months and so i began, after running a couple of laps my side of knee started to hurt and forced me to stop. For the rest of the day it didn't hurt when i walk but when i tried to jog again or put weight on my right knee the left side of the knee hurt. After a day, the pain went away and there was never a sign of swelling at all. Is this normal?

I agree with SOFT PAWS! I used them on our Bengal and after a while he stopped trying to scratch the furniture. Ok, so i have a drug test tomorrow at 11am. About a week ago i bought a detox kit called Detox Value Pack. On the back it says to avoid all toxins up to 48 hours prior to having to take your drug test. Cause of reoccurent sores/pain in mouth?

Last year started all my mouth problems. I had severe pain ( everything swollen in my mouth, a tongue that resembled thrush which then started to crack on the top later, I had canker sores etc. Doctors were baffled what I had. My lab results came back with no unusual findings. I took meds for it and it cleared. It came back about a month later. A nurse said the previous meds didnt kick the infection out, so she gave me stronger meds. It went away. To this day though (a year later) I get random sores in my mouth every few months or so that go away in about a week. I have some right now. It started out looking like a canker sore on my cheek near my gum line in front (it had a white spot). Today I have pain under my tongue where the tongue is connected the base of my mouth (behind my front teeth). The area feels inflamed and sore. A little about me-- Im 24, have good brushing/flossing/fluoride habits, am a non smoker, takes no illegal drugs etc. Does anyone have any reason for my pain??

hello, ive had a severe migraine that kept me down in bed for 72hrs. i experienced blurred vision right eye, a fluttering kind of activity in the right side of my right eye... the vision issue was troubling and extensive at the initial onset of the migraine ie.first 48hrs.... but the major vomiting, pain etc has decreased 50% thank god in the 3rd n 4th day as i kept the fluids up, slept, took 15mg percocet tabs ever 4hrs, and excedrin 2 tabs ev 6hrs. this is day 4 and i got on my feet and drove my car and did some normal routine things etc... im out of the woods i think but the fluttering vision issue in my right eye is still intermittent and onsets at varioius times! this is starting too worry me... anyone know if this is just normal migraine activity that lingers for days? what on earth causes the vision issues like that? am in in trouble here? ie. my doctor sucks, she doesnt return calls unless your owe her 10 bucks or some ****.... reaching her is like reaching the prez of the united states.... and she doesnt care lol.... very empathetic lady

Concerning the use of Linseed Oil for protection against Boring Bees in wood siding.?

This year in particular we are having considerable trouble with boring bees. We have rough sawn pine board and batten siding with a semi transparent oil based stain. the stain is about 4 yrs. old and fading. The bees are rampant and at present all we are doing is shooting them with wasp and hornet freeze which will knock them down but the damage is already down as they have obviously laid eggs in the holes. Also we have wood pecker damage from the birds trying to find the larva of the bees. So this is a double whammy. We have been told to spray the house with Linseed Oil. Can anyone tell us if this will help keep the bees away? Should we use raw or linseed oil. Should it be brushed on or sprayed. We are desparate for some answers. Thanks.

Why do we have lawns?

97 f150 not cranking!?

My 97 f150 was started this am to warm it up and when i tried to use the key it will not turn over. I was able to get it started by crossing the starter solenoid while the key is in the on position. I'm thinking it may be the switch that the wiring attaches to at the steering column because after i pulled it and pushed the lever to start it, nothing, not even a try to start .

Ok we are friends and have known each other for a month and a half since college started ( both 19) and hang out in a group from our cl. Why am I getting milk ducts clogged again and again?

I'm sick of this!! I used to have this problem on the left side. Now that is fine and my right doesn't go one night without getting painfully clogged! well pinhead crickets and fruitflies can be fed to a baby leopard gecko and as they grow bigger(they grow pretty quickly) you can up the size of its food just remember to dust its food with calcium daily. for something that small i wouldnt try to hold it much until it acclimates itself to the enclosure and as for the the tank a 20g is fine just give it plenty of hides

Has anyone had high blood pressure during pregnancy & had to take meds for it? Any complications?

Im 10 weeks pregnant & have had high blood pressure previously to my pregnancy that went untreated. My dr has put me on Labetalol to bring my blood pressure down & so far it's keeping it steady. I really didnt want to take it because of all of the bad things I read on reliable sites online about it potentially causing birth defects, crossing the placenta, being a cl C pregnancy drug & it says you should only take while pregnant if the benefits outweigh the risks. Well, I guess in my case it does, and I know I dont want to deliver early due to high blood pressure or have a stroke, seizure, heart attack etc, but Im just worried about the baby & curious if any of you have had high blood pressure & had to take meds or taken Labetalol during pregnancy & had healthy babies?

How about a better Tommy Dreamer storyline? How about they bring Raven in? They could bring Raven in and he'd be a crazy guy, wanting to get his hands on Tommy. He could show up on Raw looking for him. Wrestle a few matches there (because people get annoyed of him sitting in the ring waiting for Tommy to show up). Then he could go to SmackDown and wrestle a few matches there for the same reason. Then finally end up on ECW where he and Tommy can have a good old fashioned feud like the old days. And then there's a 3-way dance/I quit match between Raven, Tommy, and someone else, and the third person wins, but it's Raven and Tommy that steal the show. They just beat eachother to a pulp. I have a new puppy which turned out to be something else?

I adopted my new puppy about 8 months ago. He is 9 months now. He is fun, crazy, SUPER cute and it was supposed to be a boxer mix. He had a tragic birth, his mother died at birth and he was left in a dumpster to die when he was born. Thankfully he was rescued and survived. As you can imagine when I heard his story, I had to adopt him. The issue I am having is that as he grows he not looking like a boxer in any aspect of his features. I did research and it seems more likely to be a full blown Pit-bull. I have two other dogs, Lhasa Apsos, and he generally gets along with them except on some occasions he has turned on them, luckily I have been there to stop the fight. He is growing immensely each day. My question is...Is it safe for me to keep him (I AM UTTERLY IN LOVE WITH HIM)? I have to have both of my front teeth + others extracted on the NHS scheme and replaced by a partial top denture. My dentist has suggested I have a temporary set made first and wear them for a couple of months until my gums have settled before getting the final set - but even so I am told that these temporary dentures cannot be fitted for 6-8 weeks after extraction! Have the storylines on AMC/OLTL been bad for a reason?

Several years ago, with regard to AMC, I put out the opinion that the writers were deliberately trying to ruin the show so it could be canceled. Everyone told me I was paranoid, but I could not for the life of me understand why TPTB would keep writers like Megan McTavish and Charles Pratt on board when all they were getting was complaints about stupid storylines, plot exaggerations and character ruin. In view of the recently announced cancellations, I don't think I was wrong. I think it was an intention plot by Brian Frons (who BTW ured the viewers that AMC & OLTL were not going anywhere) to bring the ratings down so he could put some low-rent garbage on - like The Chew. Who the heck wants to watch something called The Chew? The Food Network would probably kick it to the curb for the name alone. I don't think TPTB necessarily Knew that soaps would end someday (although it's always possible), but I will go to my grave believing that Frons was directly responsible for the demise of a show that had 40+ year loyalty from viewers in favor of shows that probably won't last more than 6 months to a year.

Ok, so there is this girl. Lets call her skittles. Her boyfriend just broke up with her like 1.5-2 months ago. She is still really sad and misses him and still likes him.
